Located conveniently near Eton Centris and MRT Quezon Avenue station, Centris Walk is poised to be the next dining, lifestyle and entertainment capital of the metropolis. For those who love good food, Centris Walk already have several establishments that caters to varying tastes, among them are Claw Daddy, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Pancake House, Asya, My Thai, Pho Hoa, Jack's Loft, Zong, Tutti Frutti and Yang Chow Dimsum.

During the night, Centris Walk comes alive with the glow of these mushroom shaped lighted pods that change colors every so often. One can bask in the glow of these "lights" while having dinner or drinks.

Centris Walk also hosts two weekend markets - a perfect place to indulge your passion for food. Sidcor market (Quezon city's longest - running weekend market) opens from 6am to 2pm every Sunday. While the Food Bowl Night market is held every Friday and Saturday beginning 4pm up to 12 midnight. The night market sells a variety of stuff from organically-grown fresh produced vegetables, bio-dynamic and natural grains, to animal and fish fare.


Centris Walk is home to Lazer Maxx, the only three-level Laser Tag arena in the country. For the kids, there's the Carousel that they'll surely love and the kiddie train that will give them a ride around the complex.

I still have strong recollection of what are the feelings that I've felt in my Enchanted Kingdom experience. It would be a prime theme park destination in the country due to it's location which is very convenient, accessible  and would take an hour ride from Metro Manila to Santa Rosa, Laguna. Barlig, a place where time stands still...

If you are looking for an off-the-beaten-path nature trip, this is for you. Barlig is a rarely visited remote town up North (belonging to Mountain Province) that overflows with natural wonders. The town, although surrounded by lush forests and mountains, rarely gets visitors probably because of the travel time (usually 13-14 hours) and the road conditions which are highly inaccessible during the rainy season. On the brighter side, this difficulty has helped protect the town from exploitation. From Bontoc to Barlig, we passed through elevated zigzag roads which are narrow and steep. If you have the chance, it is best to sit on the roof of the jeepney to enjoy the view. Don't forget to bring a jacket as it is freezing up there even in summer, as the town is predominantly made up of dense forests with trees covered in moss. Got SPIT on at Quantum Cafe!

It was a night of great food and intelligent comedy thanks to SPIT ( Silly People's Improv Theater ). To give everyone a brief background, SPIT is Manila's premiere improvisational theater troupe, formed in 2002 by actor Gabe Mercado (Da Pulis vocalist, Eto na ang Susunod na Kabanata cast, Yakult's Ok ka ba tyan? among others) and the first Asian group that performed at the Los Angeles Improv Festival in 2004. SPIT is known for their intelligent, interactive, classy and immersive improv  brand of comedy and have been making people laugh their hearts out with their hilarious jokes, impromptu remarks and witty comments.
