A Hundred Reasons for Fun-- HUNDRED ISLANDS ADVENTURE

The Hundred Island Adventure

It’s almost end of year- September, 2011. Ana, Shiela and I had come to a very stressful state due to work’s pressure. Bar hopping, alcohol and everything in the city seemed to be of no help. We decided for a quick weekend getaway. The question is where? After some discussion and the talk of “TUPIG”, we all decided to hit Pangasinan. Hundred Islands it is….

We hit the road at noon, took Victory Liner bus bound for Alaminos. It was a fun ride to Pangasinan. We arrived at Alaminos around 9 pm and took a trike ride to Lucap point. We had a package arrangement at Tropic Island Resort; dinner was served few minutes after we checked-in.

Tired and all yet the thought of alcohol is irresistible, so Ana, Jon, Miles and I decided for a few bottles to end the night. Good thing is the place looks cool. We hate boredom so we thought of something fun to do.. PLANKING it is..

Breakfast was good enough. Part of the package we had with the resort.
The good thing about packaged tour is that everything’s set and hassle free. After breakfast we hopped on our assigned boat for a day of island hopping.

1st Stop; Governor’s Island
·
This is where PBB TEENS w/ Kim and Gerald where.

2nd Stop:  Marcos Island

·         White sands and all. Cliff diving on clear blue water. We had so much fun with this one.

3rd Stop; Quezon Island
·
White sands, kayaking, coral garden and some other fun activities. Tourist would usually take their lunch on this island. There are some stores on the hilly part of the island. Goods on the island is quite expensive, so better bring with you whatever foods and beverages you need.

4th stop: Cuenco Cave

·         Shallow water which is good for those who will bring their kids with them. Fun activities for the family.

5th Stop; Children's Island

We were supposed to go home in the afternoon but we couldn't help ourselves staying for one more night. We checked out at Tropic Island Resort and transfer to a nearby hotel with a swimming pool. We had our dinner at town proper. So loved pangalatok’s  cuisine.  Best of all, it is so affordable.

Got nothing to do at night so we hit the pool.

We heed home at noon the next day full of “pasalubongs” .
